Booking fee is not refundable for any reason or cancellation once paid. Customers cannot cancel a booking and then ask to transfer the booking fee to another date unless due to exceptional circumstances or bad weather on the day. If you cancel with less than 14 days notice and not due to bad weather we reserve the right to charge the full hire price. Once we arrive to set up your inflatables the full hire price is payable on delivery, any cancellation on arrival requires full payment. In extreme circumstances beyond your control we may reserve the right to just charge the booking fee paid.
Please ensure your garden or area for the inflatable is clear of any rubbish, animal mess, glass etc and that all walkways and doorways are clear for us to enter. The set up space must be relatively flat and there must be no jagged edges or drops in ground level. We may refuse to set up the inflatable if we feel this has non been fully met.

For large events or where we are supplying staff members / generators, or any hires £500 & over we will ask for a larger booking fee. This is usually around £20 per item/staff member. This is non refundable after 14 days of payment. If the event does not go ahead due to yourselves cancelling or if not due to bad weather the payment is non refundable and cannot be transferred to another date. If your event or party is cancelled within 14 days of the event date we reserve the right to charge the full hire cost. This also applies if cancelled due to Covid restrictions changing, illness, weather or any other reason - please only book if you agree to this.

Booking Fee - standard is £20.00 per inflatable / generator / staff member, required upon booking, this amount comes off the total balance. The remaining balance is then payable in cash on the day or by card or bank transfer at least 2 days before your booking date.
Astro Surface = additional £75.00 per inflatable (sand bags & ropes required) minimum 4 strong anchorage points. You must send us photos of the set up area and receive confirmation from us the location is suitable before you book online.

It is the responsibility of the customer (hirer) to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to equipment. Ensure the following safety instructions are followed. Please show ID to a member of our delivery team on arrival.
1. Ensure the correct age group use the inflatable as instructed by Get Up and Bounce. Please ensure no-one over this age use the equipment. Age limits for each inflatable are clearly stated on each listing. Toddler castles Max 4 years. Children's Castles Max 12 years (some can be 14 years old). 3. Shoes, badges, jewellery, (large earings, necklaces etc.) MUST be removed.Users are not permitted to wear Spectacles on inflatables, it is safety risk to themselves and other users. This is a legal and insurance requirement. Please inform any guests that glasses will need to be removed in order to play. (Our insurance policy does not cover us to allow users to wear spectacles whilst playing on inflatables or bouncy castles. Glasses can be broken/shattered and therefore at worst leave a child blind. If the spectacles fell off and broke they could also cause injury to other children using the inflatable, which may mean you we have to shut down and remove inflatable due to possibility of broken glass or small pieces. Therefore we must adhere to the rules we have been set and ask all users to remove their glasses. It is highly recommend you ask all parents/users to follow this rule as well. If a parent or person over 18 years who is responsible for the user is adamant the child cannot remove their glasses as ‘they cannot see well enough to bounce safely’ then they must sign the disclaimer on the day to take full responsibility for any injuries caused due to the spectacles)

Wearing Spectacles at Private Parties - Our insurance policy does not cover us to allow users to wear spectacles whilst playing on inflatables or bouncy castles.

Wearing Spectacles at Public Events - Spectacles cannot be worn and MUST be removed. There is no option to sign a disclaimer. Our events are often attended by hundreds of users therefore it is not viable to ask permission from all other users at each event. If users wear a pair of 'Sports Safe Prescription Goggles' that have toughened plastic lenses, and rubber to hold them on around the head we are happy to allow you to bounce and play whilst wearing them.

4. No Dogs near or on the equipment, No face-paints, party-poppers, coloured streamers or "silly string" must be used near or on the equipment, as they can permanently stain the unit.
5. No smoking near or on the equipment, and DO NOT get the equipment wet/dirty with hose pipes or water pistols etc. as this will incur a £25 to £100 cleaning and drying out charge per inflatable.
6. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls & climbing up slides is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.
7. A responsible adult (over 18 years) must supervise the equipment at all times.
8. Ensure that the equipment is not overcrowded, and limit the numbers depending on age and size of users. If the users are colliding into each other then it is too crowded.
9. Avoid large children & adults mixing with small children on the equipment at same time. Some children require strict supervision.
10. If the Bouncy Castle is not being used for any part of the day, you can switch the blower off at the mains.
11. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step of the castle. It is there to help users get on and off.

The safety mats at the entrance and exit, plus slide areas must remain in place at all times. Adults must re-position the mats if required during use.

12. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems are allowed to use the equipment. Anyone visibly under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any intoxicating substance should not use the equipment.

15. Any extension leads will have a safety breaker, with a reset button. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch back on again 1-2 minutes later. Press reset button on breaker, it should restart. If it does not, you may have a power cut or issue, please call us if so. If using a generator - Electrical equipment and generators must be switched off when refuelling. Containers labelled and kept in a safe location.
16. Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times.

20. Any damage to /or loss of equipment will be your responsibility, you agree to pay all associated costs for repair whilst within your care if due to your neglect. A trained person has set up the equipment, it must not be moved or tampered with in any way.
21. If you are unsure about anything, please contact us.
23. Astro-Turf is not grass, and is classed as a hard surface. If you require an inflatable on astro turf there is an additional £75 charge (Per Inflatable) for sand bags and the extra work for strapping the inflatable to nearby posts and the ground. We DO NOT set up on hard surfaces such as concrete, tarmac, decking, bark chip, slabs etc. There must be at least 3 strong anchor points such as posts, flower beds within 5 meters where we can secure ropes or peg into the ground with straps. Photographs of the step up area must be sent to us before your booking so we can agree to do it.

24. Hard Surface hire - Grass is a much safer option, however we can set up on astro as long as the following criteria are met:
The surface must be relatively flat and have no jagged edges or uneven slabs sticking out etc. It cannot be gravel.
The area must be at least the operational area required for the inflatable as per the measurements listed for each piece of equipment shown on our website.
There must be at least 3 points located around the area where we can securely attach ropes. Such as concrete posts, wooden posts, or even a grass or dirt border we can peg into 380mm deep.
We are then able to meet all safety requirements and secure the inflatable.
You will then need to ensure children do not climb or run over the ropes as they may trip over them. It is your responsibility to inform children or block these areas off. We would not leave ropes in front of the access areas to the inflatable of course. £95 extra charge per inflatable.

27. Steps - if your garden or venue has a number steps or steep slopes please inform us beforehand. If the steps are rather steep, large or narrow we recommend sending us a few photographs to check we are happy to undertake the booking. We use sack trolleys to carry our equipment and even tough we use extreme care this may slightly scuff or damage the edge of the steps. You accept this risk when booking and hiring in a location with steps. There is a £15 - £25 charge for over 8 steps or very steep steps.

28. Overnight Hire - you can pay £40 extra for overnight hire on most of our inflatables. Some are not available for overnight use and should be noted in each listing. The inflatable will be collected the next day and is usually arranged when delivering or the next morning. It can often be anytime between 8am - 2pm. This option must be added when booking, not on the day of your hire. We will not leave overnight if we feel the location is not safe or suitable.

29. Grass - Please check the area for set up has sufficient depth for us to peg into the ground, we cannot be held responsible for damage to underground pipework or cables. Pegs go into the ground at least 380mm.
